Shelby White, Co-founder
Every business has a story worth telling. Most of them are telling it wrong. Shelby White built her career finding the story nobody else sees, then putting it to work.
She's been the voice for a $2 billion publicly traded bank, writing SEC filings and investor materials and steering crisis communications across more than 30 branches through a global pandemic. She's shaped how leadership speaks to a workforce spread across the country for a national culinary brand. She leads talent attraction and regional branding initiatives across an eight-county region, building the campaigns that draw investment and workforce to the area.
Her instincts were forged in newsrooms. Three Keystone Media Awards before turning 26 taught her that facts, not spin, are what move people. She brings that same discipline to every client at Millworks: strategy built on what's true, not what's trendy.
A background in theatre gave her a second education, one in presence, delivery and the craft of holding a room, and it's fueled a passion for training people to speak with confidence in public. Shelby is an Indianapolis-based writer and communications practitioner.
She founded Millworks on the belief that Public Relations is a craft, finding a business's real story and putting it in front of the right people, at the right moment, in the right way.
